The legal and regulatory framework for the transport and communications sector is being strengthened

On 6 September, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where a number of issues of state life were discussed. In this regard, information was given on the necessary measures to be taken in this direction, and relevant proposals were submitted to the head of state for consideration.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of compliance of the legal framework of the transport and communications complex with modern norms. Having approved the submitted proposals, the head of state instructed the head of the Agency to continue the relevant work.

From September 30 to October 18, 2024, a theoretical course under the program "State Flight Safety Inspector - Certification of Specialists" will be held at the Aviation Training School of the agency "Türkmenhowaýollary". Turkmenistan Airlines announced a new schedule of international flights

​Turkmenistan Airlines has published a new international flight schedule, which will be valid until October 27 this year. The national carrier will operate flights to 12 major cities around the world.
According to the new schedule, flights from Ashgabat to cities in different countries will be operated with varying frequencies:
2 times a week: Dubai (UAE), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Beijing (China), Bangkok (Thailand), Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), London (UK), Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Milan (Italy).
1 time a week: Abu Dhabi (UAE).
